DAY 11: WHALES AND PUFFINS IN HUSAVIK

Sunday, June 4, 2017: We drove north to Husavik today to go whale and puffin watching. It was fun!

Those little black dots are puffins!

And we saw whales! A humpback and a sperm whale. We saw dolphins, too!

Then, Michael got to play below deck and in the wheel house.

On our way out of town, we stopped for an El Reno burger. This was fun for us because Mike grew up in a small town in Oklahoma called El Reno, and this burger is named for that town. Only we were disappointed because El Reno is famous for it's onion burgers and an onion burger this burger was NOT! Oh well!

FROM  MICHAEL:

I went whale watching today, Then we went to a burger place. Then it took us like 15 hours to get home. I also talked my parents into doubling my allowance and allowing me to get stuff in a game that I want that costs real money. I feel happy right now, you might not be able to tell, but I am very excited.

FROM MIKE:

Slo-mo horses.

MY RANDOM THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY:

How will I ever go back to driving in traffic?

The new Twin Peaks show is bizzaro!

I miss my pets!
