Days 1 & 2: Colorado

Sunday, November 12, 2017: Denver

We arrived in Denver this afternoon. Before heading to our hotel in Colorado Springs, we headed to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

FROM MICHAEL:

"No trees, no grass, no terrain, it was like we were at the bottom of a bowl surrounded by mountains billions of miles away. It sucked."

FROM MIKE:

"Skunks" everywhere.

MY RANDOM THOUGHTS ON THE DAY:

The mountains are beautiful. It was really brown, maybe because it's November? It still reminds me of Buffalo. I would have forgotten that marijuana is legal here EXCEPT for the tons of people that stunk like they had just smoked up in their cars before coming into the museum. That's not cool.

Monday, November 13, 2017: Colorado Springs

We surprised Michael and brought him to The North Pole Colorado. It was a cute but cheesy (if that's a thing) little amusement park.

Michael asked Santa for Roblox gift cards and the Pacific Rim figurines of Leatherback and Striker Eureka. (Hijacked by Mikale: Anybody who doesn't believe in Santa Claus is an idiotic crumb bag.)

This is the world's highest ferris wheel.

View from the top of the ferris wheel.

Next, we headed over to the Garden of the Gods. It was beautiful!

FROM MICHAEL:

"I felt heroic next to a rock that's going to fall on somebody in 5 thousand years or so. I also ate pizza at a restaurant. Nom nom nom. :P"

FROM MIKE:

We "Kame and Went".

MY RANDOM THOUGHTS:

I really liked Colorado Springs. The mountains here are gorgeous. The weather was fantastic. I feel like I haven't adjusted to the time difference from the east coast yet. I could crawl into bed by 6:30pm.
